Product Description
PM18 series proximity sensor is one metal shell cylindrical photocell sensor; It includes a through-beam type, polarized reflective type, and diffused type.
PM18T opposed type photoelectric sensor is our most popular model used at turnstiles. PM18T photoelectric sensor installed at the turnstile gate entrance is used to detect whether people intrude into the turnstile gate. When swiping the card outside the yellow line, there is no object at the gate entrance, and the sensor signal is standard, the wing door will open; if the person goes inside the yellow line, the sensor signal at the gate entrance changes, even if swiping the card, the wing door will not open. The purpose of this design is to prevent the opening and closing of the wing gate when swiping the card at a short distance, which may cause potential safety hazards, and also prevent ticket evasion.

Product self-inspection steps
1. Detect whether the installation position of the object and the proximity sensor has deviated, slack, or skewed; whether there is slack, poor contact, or disconnection in the wiring and connection parts
2. Whether there is adhesion or accumulation of metal dust, etc.
3. Is there any abnormality in using temperature conditions and environmental conditions?
4. Set whether the flashing of the display lamp type is abnormal.
If you must be careful not to disassemble and repair by yourself during the inspection, and to easily find out the fault, you can investigate the operating state of the sensor through the connection with the portable detector, and then repair it according to the situation.
